Hugs and Goodbye's

Well Dana and I have finished our time at Mountainview Regional Medical Center. We have enjoyed so much of our time in the ER and are going to miss so many people. It was hard leaving because we have both created so many friendships and memories (some embarassing ones for John). We are excited to keep in touch with our ER crew and look forward to seeing everyone again in the future!

Update on life

More recent and random picture of us (in June in Longview)

We have been given the job description we put in for and are excited about the new chapter coming up in our lives. We only have 1 more week of work left. Then we will be packing up our stuff and becoming nomads for a while. We will spend the rest of December and most of January with family in Alamogordo, Farmington, Longview/Dallas, and Las Cruces. The end of January we will be going to training in VA for 2 months. Then we suppose we'll be saying bye to the US of A early April and Hello to Asia for 2-3 years. Who knows what all is in store for us, but that is about as much as we know as of now. Stay tuned to more random updates!

We've been accepted!

As some of you may know, Dana works days and John works nights in the ER. On 9/19, John worked a different shift from 11 am to 2 am. He gets in bed and wakes Dana up at 3 in the morning with a splendid surprise. A letter from the company! It said that we have been accepted as a canadite for moving on. We will be flying to Virginia for the interview the second week of November. We are quite excited! We hope to keep you posted!

Hawaii

Hello friends,

We recently went to beautiful Kauai, Hawaii! We had the oppurtunity to travel with Dana's parents and John's brother and sister-n-law. It was such a refreshing time. Dana is currently working at Mountainview Regional Medical Center in the E.R., the day shift; and John is also currently working there, the night shifts. We should know in a few weeks whether or not we get invitied to candidate conference so keep us in your thoughts. There is so much else to share but we will save that for next time.

Hello and welcome to our blog site! We have many exciting events coming up in our lives and are excited to share them with you. We recently finished our application and got an official invite from the strategic coordinator in the blue city. We plan to be on the field in early April.
